Dr Jun-Young Kim

Research Interests

Jun-Young Kim joined to Quantum Nanoelectronics group in the Department of Electronics in June 2015 as a post-doctoral research associate. He received BA and MSci degrees in Natural Sciences (Physics) in 2007 and a PhD in Experimental Physics in 2014 from the University of Cambridge. His PhD research covers the fabrication and characterisation of metal-semiconductor lateral spin injection devices, namely Fe/GaAs(001), and the study of structural and magnetic properties of Fe thin films deposited by molecular beam epitaxy on GaN(0001).
