Research Background
My research expertise covers Material Science and Materials Physics on a broad scale including thin film growth, Raman microscopy, X-ray diffraction and particularly electron microscopy. The research areas comprise diamond thin films, semiconductors, metal/semiconductor interfaces, optical active semiconductors such as II-VI semiconductors and nitrides for LEDs and Laser diodes as well as biominerals and composite biomaterials.
