Licensing

The method required to generate the Kystis Bladder Tissue Model is protected by patents granted (EP 1549739, JP 4511929) and pending (US patent application 10/522,371). Licensed production may be a preferred option for large industrial users of the model, or in circumstances in which modelling of a specific human population is needed. Kystis can assist in the development of scaled-up production methods and the implementation of appropriate quality control measures.

It should be noted that Licensees would need to establish access to their own supply of primary human urothelial cells in order to produce the Bladder Tissue Model.
